I’m not going to lie, this has been a tough week. Those stomach pains are still lingering and my nausea returned with a vendetta; cue Monday meltdown!

I had an antenatal appointment on Monday (everything running smoothly) and got to hear this little ones heartbeat; he or she is proving to be an energetic little wriggler already!

Once we’d got home and Jon was about to go to work for the evening, I started to feel really unwell and couldn’t move without feeling sick. At 17 weeks I hoped I was over nausea, but that definitely wasn’t the case early on this week.

I hadn’t slept great on Sunday night either, so a mixture of tiredness, hormones and sickness led to one of those marathon crying sessions; you know the kind, where you cry on and off for a few hours whenever anyone asks if you’re okay. I even roped my lovely brother in to get Daisy a Happy Meal for tea (the sickness was real guys!).

Thankfully, Tuesday was a little better and I’ve only had mild nausea in the evenings again. I even managed to wolf down this bad boy that Jon brought home (he knows the way to my heart!).Apart from nausea, everything else has been pretty normal and I can feel this little babe more and more everyday. Daisy has started looking at my growing bump regularly and telling me that I have a baby in there too; she’s going to be such a good big sister. We have a weekend full of celebrations now as it’s Jon’s birthday on Monday, so there’s lots of food and family time on the cards. Hope you all have a lovely week guys!
